# 2. Legal Compliance & Free Entry Route
### 2.1
All competitions are operated as skill-based prize competitions or free-entry prize draws in accordance with the Gambling Act 2005.
### 2.2
Where applicable, a free postal entry route is available. Details will be shown on the relevant competition page.
### 2.3
Free entries are treated equally to paid entries and have the same chance of winning.
### 2.4
The Promoter reserves the right to reject free entries that are:
- illegible
- incomplete
- submitted in bulk
- incorrectly completed
- non-compliant with these Terms & Conditions

## 2.5 FREE Postal Entry Route
Entrants may enter competitions free of charge by post where a free entry route is available.
To enter by post, entrants must send an unenclosed stamped postcard clearly stating:
- The competition name
- The correct answer to the competition question (where applicable)
- Full Name
- Date of Birth
- Postal Address
- Email Address
- One Contact Telephone Number
### Postal entries must:
- Be clearly handwritten or typed
- Include all required information
- Match the details registered on the entrant’s website account
- Be sent individually (multiple entries on one postcard are not permitted)

### Additional Conditions:
- Entrants must have an active account on the website at the time the postal entry is sent.
- Kent Competitions Limited accepts no responsibility for entries delayed, lost, damaged or rendered invalid due to illegible handwriting or incorrect addressing.
- Where the ticket price is lower than the cost of a second-class stamp, multiple free entries may be allocated equivalent to or exceeding the stamp value.
Example:
- 49p entry = 2 free entries
- 33p entry = 3 free entries

# 3. Eligibility
### 3.1
Entrants must be aged 18 years or over and residents of the United Kingdom unless otherwise stated.
### 3.2
Proof of age, identity and address may be requested before any prize is awarded.
### 3.3
The Promoter reserves the right to refuse or cancel entries where eligibility requirements are not met.

# 4. Entries & Ticket Purchases
### 4.1
An entry is only confirmed once:
- payment has been successfully processed; or
- a valid postal entry has been received and approved.
### 4.2
Maximum ticket limits may apply per entrant.
### 4.3
Entries exceeding ticket limits may be voided or refunded at the Promoter’s discretion.
### 4.4
All entries are non-transferable and non-refundable except where a competition is cancelled.
4.4a Free entry is available by post. To enter for free, send your full name, address, date of birth, email address, contact number and the competition name on a postcard or sealed envelope to our registered business address. Postal entries must arrive before the competition closes. Free entries are given the same chance of winning as paid entries. Only one free entry per person per competition unless otherwise stated. Illegible, incomplete or bulk entries may be rejected.

# 5. Instant Win Prizes
### 5.1
Where competitions include instant win prizes, winners are determined automatically using a randomised system at the point of entry.
### 5.2
Instant win prizes will normally be paid using the payment or bank details provided by the entrant.
### 5.3
Entrants are solely responsible for ensuring all payment and contact details are accurate and up to date.
### 5.4
The Promoter accepts no liability for payments made to incorrect accounts where incorrect information has been supplied by the entrant.
### 5.5
Any reissue of payments is entirely at the Promoter’s discretion.

# 6. Draw Process & Transparency
### 6.1
Winners will be selected using a verified random number generator or equivalent fair selection method.
### 6.2
Where advertised, draws may be conducted live on social media platforms or recorded for public viewing.
### 6.3
Technical interruptions, connectivity issues or platform outages do not invalidate a draw provided the result can be independently verified.
### 6.4
The Promoter’s decision regarding all winners is final.

### 7.2
The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with an alternative of equal or greater value where necessary.

Cash prizes are typically paid by bank transfer following successful verification.

# 8. Winner Contact & Verification
### 8.1
Winners will be contacted using the details supplied at entry.
### 8.2
If a winner fails to respond within 7 days, the Promoter reserves the right to redraw the prize.
### 8.3
For transparency purposes, the Promoter may publish a winner’s first name, town/county or social media username unless prohibited by law.

# 9. Fraud Prevention & Fair Use
### 9.1
The Promoter operates strict anti-fraud and fair-play procedures.
### 9.2
Any entrant suspected of:
- using bots or automated systems
- operating multiple accounts
- participating in syndicates designed to manipulate competitions
- abusing payment systems or chargebacks
- exploiting technical errors
may be disqualified without notice.
### 9.3
The Promoter reserves the right to:
- suspend or permanently close accounts
- cancel entries
- withhold prizes
- refuse future participation
where fraudulent or unfair activity is reasonably suspected.
### 9.4
Refunds may be refused where fraud, abuse or unfair advantage is suspected.

# 10. Competition Changes & Cancellation
### 10.1
The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel competitions where necessary due to operational, technical or external circumstances.
### 10.2
Where a competition is cancelled, entrants will receive either:
- a refund; or
- equivalent site credit.
### 10.3
Competitions may close early if all available entries sell out.

The Promoter shall not be liable for:
- website downtime
- technical malfunctions
- payment provider failures
- delayed notifications
- incorrect entrant details
- third-party platform outages
### 11.2
Nothing within these Terms excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
